A new sports complex will be built in St. Petersburg
Recently, a plan was approved for the construction of a sports complex, which will appear in St. Petersburg as part of the Okhta Center project. The construction area will be 15,000 square meters. Construction is supposed to be carried out on a site located in the area of the Metallistov passage and Shepetovskaya street. Parking for 137 cars will appear next to the complex. The finished sports complex will be added to the balance of the city.
The implementation of the project for the construction of the Okhta Center business district has caused controversy and disagreements, which were caused by different points of view voiced at the highest level of government. Now the possibility of implementing this project is being considered by UNESCO. The construction of the complex will be financed by Gazprom Neft. The project will require 60 billion rubles of investment.
