House prices continued to fall in Bulgaria
In the third quarter of this year, the average cost per square meter in the Bulgarian housing market amounted to 901.32 levs (approximately 19.3 thousand rubles), compared to last year’s figure for the same period, prices fell by 6%.
Analysts point out that the fall in property prices has continued in most regions of Bulgaria since 2008. A slight increase in housing prices was recorded in Sofia and Burgas (1 and 2 percent, respectively). The largest decrease in housing prices was recorded in the city of Gabrovo, where a square meter fell in price by 16%.
The most expensive housing in the country is located in Varna, where a square meter currently costs 1493.33 levs (31.9 thousand rubles). The second position is occupied by Sofia (1456.48 levs per «square», 31.1 thousand rubles), the third — Burgas (1184.41 levs, 25.3 thousand rubles).
